You’re smart. You’re creative.
You’re committed to creating the success you dream of.

You have so much to offer, and want to offer it online. But you don’t know where to start.

I see the bigger picture for you, to transform your dream of success into something real. No matter where you are now and how un-tech-savvy you feel.

Whether you’ve tried using Facebook to grow your sales, set up an Instagram account and even considered using Etsy, you feel like it’s not working. The sales aren’t happening.

I can help.

Dreaming about selling online is one thing. Sorting through all the tech is another. Let’s do this together.

Hi, I’m Jill Rumley. My friends call me the Tech Queen.

I’m a technologically savvy woman who has worked on computers for over 40 years. I’m also an artist who wants to sell her work. Both are creative endeavors, and I help people like you solve your technology problems. I offer coaching on the latest marketing strategies using social media, and I will show you how to get your work out there with my step by step tech guides.

Because tech is something you don’t feel skilled at...

You’re someone who loves what you do and you want to make money doing it. You want to get your work “out there” and not keep it hidden away.

But where do you start?  You are comfortable using some features of Facebook and maybe even Instagram. You’ve tried ads, created a Facebook business page; yet none of this doesn’t seems to be working.

This is your chance to end the frustration of not knowing where to begin.

I know how to explain the tech in a way you will understand and can use, no geek-speak here!

My step-by step video tutorial guides are easy to follow and simple to use. I share my insider tips on how to work around the frustrating parts of online selling.
I know how to help you start using social media, art sales sites, and mailing lists so you can get your work out there and seen by your fans.. And my methods don’t require huge time sacrifices to make this happen.

As a geek and an artist, I bridge the gap between tech and creativity. Helping women understand tech is my passion, I’ve been doing it for over 20 years. My favorite win is when I hear “Yes, I can do this” from you.

Here I was in 1991 Working at Seagate Tech.

My Journey Here

I came of age as video arcades started showing up at malls. I grew up in a tech-friendly home. My brother was a tech nerd in Silicon Valley California in the late 1970’s. He would bring home bootlegged video games that we played on our Atari 400 computer.

As a pre-teen, I spent hours playing video games and learning how to navigate computer operating systems. When my brother brought home an IBM Personal Computer XT, he showed me how to write code (SNORE) but also let me play with the paint program (FUN!).

Through the late 80’s and into the late 90’s, I worked for a number of different organizations doing data processing. In 1999, I signed up to take graphic design classes at the local community college. This is where I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.

“Learning” wasn’t really the word I would use. It was more like “OH MY GOD THIS IS THE MOST FUN I’VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!”  And it still is. I spend most of my spare time creating on the computer. I’ll do this before I will pick up a pencil and sketch.

In the 2000’s I started helping women in business build webpages and create artwork for business cards and paper brochures. This was my hobby while I earned my bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Life will take an interesting turn, usually right when you’ve got a lot of momentum going.

Between 2010 and 2012, I experienced the loss of a number of family members, close family friends and pets. It wasn’t tragic, but it was just a time when everyone had reached an age where they died from natural causes.

It took a toll on me. I had never experienced depression before, and here I was, unable to function. To top it off, we had just moved from Minnesota to Colorado, it was all too much. I had to step away from the craziness of the internet for a couple of years in order to heal myself.

At first I tried Real Estate. I wanted to help people navigate the home buying process, especially those who were relocating or going through the estate process.

I got my license, signed up with a broker and then spent all of my time making websites and marking material instead of prospecting. I started doing this for other agents… and was eventually hired as the Marketing Director for a large Real Estate Team in Denver. Full circle again!

My desire to create “something more” was always just under the surface.

Something was nagging in the back of my mind. I wanted to get off the computer and create something more, something I could touch. This is when I started painting. It was something I’d always wanted to try, but the computer was always calling me…

I painted. And painted. I posted photos of my paintings on Facebook. Everyone “oohed and ah’d”. I sold a couple of paintings. Then it happened. I can sell my art! People love it! I don’t want my art to be hidden in the basement! I can sell it online!

Things started to click.

As soon as I tried to sell my art online, I hit a wall. I was struggling with growing my audience and selling my own artwork through social media. Much like prospecting in real estate was for me, I had a hard time “asking” for the sale.

Selling real estate and selling art is the same thing. It’s about connecting with people and helping them feel good about the experience you’re offering.  I needed to learn more!

I dove into taking courses on marketing techniques and sales. I ended up meeting other artists and small business owners. I discovered that a lot of them didn’t have the technical knowledge  or confidence to use the strategies being taught. Technology was the barrier.

I ended up helping them. And loving it.

Then it dawned on me; I have a gift, the gift of understanding tech. The gift of connecting with different types of people, from real estate brokers, to musicians, and artists. While painting is something I love to do, it’s not my passion.

Helping women navigate technology is my passion.

My Mission.

I believe that technology should not be something that holds you back from following your dreams.

You have something beautiful to offer this world, you just need a little help getting the word out. I believe that you are capable of doing this using technology, all you need is a little boost, someone to take you by the hand and show you the way.

I’m here to help you. My business is built from my passion to help women use tech. You can reach a bigger audience and share your magic with the world.

Through my free newsletter, blog posts, FB posts and free video tutorials, I’m in this to make a difference in your life. I want you to achieve your dreams, on your own terms by eliminating the technology obstacles that are holding you back.

Louise Kittel

Artist and certified life coach | New York, NY

In the artist’s mastermind group where I first met her, we call Jill the "Tech Queen".  With good reason, because she is not just an artist but a professional Geek who not only knows the answer to every one of our tech and social media questions but can explain the how-to’s in a way artists can understand.  And then use.

For so many of us creative types, that can make all the difference between getting our work “out there” in a wider way, or keeping our best stuff hidden away.  Because tech is something we just don’t feel skilled at or have the time to figure out. Then Jill walks in, simplifies things for you, and motivates you. Soon you are up and running. You are getting comments and “likes”, you are getting known!

I’ve been lucky to meet Jill at just the point where I needed this kind of information.  And feel even luckier now that she is putting her knowledge into online lessons that can be accessed 24/7.   Now Jill the Tech Goddess is in my pocket whenever I need her! Do yourself a favor and put her in your pocket too!
